            'Diamond Dome' - Sunrise over half dome in Yosemite happens only during this time of the year. I got lucky to be at this location for sunrise after shooting some starscapes the night before. Patiently waited for about an hour at this location to watch the Sun peek behind the dome to create heavenly beams over the valley and sierra range. Easy part? The wait .. as the view of Nevada falls, Vernal Falls, and Half Dome from this location is simply breathtaking (especially during sunrise and sunset). Difficult part? getting the correct exposure for sun and foreground as this scene lasted for less than 20 seconds for me to figure that out. 
Nevada Falls (the taller one) on the right side of the frame is ~ 600 feet fall..so you can imagine the scale of this glacier carved natural wonder!
