Schwerin Castle

A photo of the impressive Schwerin Castle from a time when we in Germany were still allowed to illuminate such landmarks at night.
It's amazing how quickly something like this can change and the history of an entire nation erased from the viewer's view. There's something very symbolic about that for me.

Ein Foto vom beeindruckenden Schloß Schwerin aus einer Zeit, als wir es uns in Deutschland noch erlauben durften solche Wahrzeichen bei Nacht zu beleuchten.
Es ist schon erstaunlich, wie schnell sich so etwas ändern kann und die Geschichte einer ganzen Nation aus dem Blick des Betrachters gelöscht wird. Das hat für mich schon etwas sehr symbolisches.
