sunset behind the city - Sonnenuntergang hinter der Stadt

The setting sun bathes the old town of Dresden in a warm orange light.
As you can see, the photo is from the beginning of the year when the Elbe floodwaters were just beginning to recede.
I had never photographed this perspective before. But the evening before I had to go by there and saw this view and spontaneously decided that I definitely wanted to capture it.
Luckily the conditions were the same again when I returned the next day.

Die untergehende Sonne badet die Altstadt von Dresden in ein warmes orangefarbenes Licht.
Wie Ihr sehen könnt, stammt das Foto noch aus dem Anfang des Jahres als das Hochwasser der Elbe gerade begann wieder zurück zu gehen.
Diese Perspektive hatte ich bisher dahin noch nie fotografiert. Doch am Abend zuvor musste ich dort vorbei und habe diesen Blick gesehen und spontan entschieden, dass ich diesen unbedingt einmal einfangen möchte.
Zum Glück waren die Konditionen wieder die gleichen, als ich Tags darauf wieder hier hin zurück gekehrt bin.
