At the granit cleft- An den Granit Spalte

Two days ago I told you something about a magical forest. That's not him. You'll have to wait another day for that. But I can promise you now that it's worth it.
Today we turn from the big city (Frankfurt) to the world at our feet.
This surreal landscape that you see here is right on my garden path. On and between two granite slabs that serve as a path boundary, a miniature rainforest has developed in which raindrops have now collected. The tree trunks in this forest are just 2 cm high, so this section would fit on a credit card.
I find it so fascinating that an entire world can exist in such a small space.

Vor zwei Tagen habe ich Euch etwas über einen magischen Wald erzählt. Das ist er nicht. Auf den müsst Ihr noch einen Tag länger warten. Ich kann Euch aber jetzt schon versprechen, dass es sich lohnt.
Heute wenden wir von der großen Stadt (Frankfurt) hin zur Welt zu unseren Füßen.
Diese surreale Landschaft, die Ihr hier seht befindet sich direkt an meinem Gartenweg. Auf und zwischen zwei Granitplatten, die hier als Wegbegrenzung dienen, hat sich ein Miniatur-Regenwald entwickelt in dem sich jetzt Regentropfen gesammelt haben. Die Baumstämme dieses Waldes sind gerade einmal 2 cm hoch, so dass dieser Ausschnitt hier auf eine Krerditkarte passen würde.
Ich finde es so faszinierend, dass auf so kleinem Raum eine ganze Welt existieren kann.
