a blooming roof - ein blühendes Dach

I can't remember ever driving under a canopy of flowering trees (in this case, cherry trees). This could mean that I'm getting old and my memory is failing (but I don't think so) or that I was extremely lucky to come by here last Friday evening.
I was actually an rapeseed field exploration tour in Saxon Switzerland and wanted to take a closer look at the field you see on the left. Without this field, which I had seen from afar, I would never have gotten through here, because at the end of this avenue the road is closed due to construction work.
So it took a few coincidences for me to be able to show you this flower tunnel today, which I'm very happy about.

Ich kann mich nicht erinnern jemals unter einem Dach von blühenden Bäumen (in dem Falle Kirschbäume) hindurch gefahren zu sein. Das kann jetzt bedeuten, dass ich alt werde und mein Gedächtnis nachlässt (glaub ich aber nicht) oder, dass ich letzten Freitag Abend ein riessiges Glück hatte hier vorbei gekommen zu sein.
Eigentlich war ich in der Sächsischen Schweiz auf Rapsfeld Erkundung und wollte mir das Feld, was ihr hier auf der der linken Seite seht, einmal genauer anschauen. Ohne dieses Feld, was ich schon von Weitem gesehen hatte, wäre ich hier nie durchgekommen, denn am Ende dieser Allee ist die Strasse auf Grund von Bauarbeiten gesprerrt.
Es waren also einige Zufälle nötig, dass ich Euch heute diesen Blütentunnel ziegen kann worüber ich sehr glücklich bin.
