Can-Am Killer

            1973 Porsche 917/30 chassis 917-30-002.
With 1100 hp in race trim and around 1500 hp available for qualification, the turbocharged 917/30 Spyder is one of the most dominant race cars in history. It is famous for having "killed Can-Am", with Mark Donohue and Penske winning 6 of the 8 rounds of the 1973 season.
Donohue drove this chassis to victory at Watkins Glen in July 1973. The five other wins were achieved with the sister car 917-30-003.
917-30-002 was retained by Porsche.
