Zoom-Nikkor 100-300mm F5.6 AI-S - a photo on Flickriver

            First results, from a recently obtained Zoom-Nikkor 100-300mm F5.6 AI-S (off Ebay at very reasonable cost and in superb condition) Camera used Old Nikon D100 in manual (exposure estimated 1/8th sec at various apertures F5.6 -F16 and also a PK-13 tube used on some shots, tripod mount and cable release used) Weather outside cloudy, foggy and very dull. Considering it a zoom lens, quite pleased, however, my eyesite is somewhat lacking and found because of this and lighting conditions, focus at little difficult to judge, however, help is on its way, have won a DG-2 and DG-3, focus aids, should help my eyesight and judgement. So, as it is a heavy lens also and I'm not yet used to it any errors, are user fault not lens. Obviously my micro nikkors 55mm and 105 mm turn in superb results as they are computed for close up work. This Zoom lens has a limited function micro capability.
