Mossy Bank

            1971 Bronica S2A with Nikkor 2.8/75mm on Fomapan 100 at box speed in ADOX XT-3 stock for 6  mins @ 20C.

This was shot last weekend up in the hills above my house in Dublin like the last few shots that I posted. One of the things I like in Ireland is that, like at home in Oregon, moss grows on anything that is sitting still. These old trees up along the stream on the edge of Cruagh Wood are covered in moss everywhere that it can cling! The stones in the stream, and on the bank are as well. Despite being Springtime here, the elevation means these trees are all behind the trees down below and are just beginning to bud. I will try to revisit on a sunny summer day for a totally different look. I have had my eye on this area for some photos for awhile and finally got up there!

I love how the white bark of the birches stands out in the background here.
