Fine settimana a Pisa - Weekend in Pisa (Tuscany, Italy)

            L'origine di Pisa è stata per secoli incerta; si pensava fondata da profughi di Troia originari della omonima città di Pisa nel Peloponneso, ma solo dal 2004 è stato accertato che la città è stata fondata dagli Etruschi, in occasione del ritrovamento di reperti archeologici di Età Villanoviana del IX - VIII secolo A.C.
La città è famosa nel mondo per la sua celebre torre pendente, campanile della cattedrale il cui complesso è Patrimonio Mondiale dell'Umanità, ma Pisa non ha solo pendente il campanile della Cattedrale, infatti è pendente anche il campanile della chiesa di San Nicola vicino al Lungarno ed il campanile (e la chiesa) di San Michele degli Scalzi. Una buona occasione per visitare una città unica ed amata dai turisti di tutto il mondo, amore che ricambia con la grande bellezza dei suoi monumenti.


The origin of Pisa has been uncertain for centuries, it was thought founded by refugees from Troy of the homonym city of Pisa in the Peloponnesus, but only since 2004, it was discovered that the city was founded by the Etruscans, on the occasion of the discovery of archaeological finds of the Villanova Age dated IX - VIII century B.C.
The city is worldwide famous for its leaning tower, bell tower of the Cathedral the combination of which is a World Heritage Site, but Pisa don't have only leaning the Cathedral's bell tower, indeed is also leaning the bell tower of the St. Nicholas Church (Chiesa di San Nicola) near the Lungarno (riverside of Arno) and the bell tower (and church) of San Michele degli Scalzi. A good opportunity to visit a city unique and beloved by tourists from all over the world, love that the city give back with the great beauty of its monuments.
