Macro on the cheap - a photo on Flickriver

Macro on the cheap

            My wife would divorce me if I bought an 80mm Fuji macro for $1000. So today, I took a $20 Fotodiox PK-FX adapter and stuck it to a $40 JJC 16mm extension. Then, I mounted a 40-year-old Ricoh 50mm 1.7 manual-focus lens, around $25, on the whole contraption. I need practice, but this could be fun, esp. since it only cost around $85.
