Monsoon Sunrise

            This was Saturday's sunrise from Hawk Hill. I woke up around 3:30 am to go to bathroom, and decided to walk out to my backyard and give a cloud check. Well there were clouds, and I got in my car and drove to the Headlands. By the time I got to the roundabout I could see that the sky was filled with monsoonal type clouds. The gate up to Hawk Hill was still locked, so I walked up the road and set up my gear in front of the second parking lot from the top. I could see  a nice gap between the horizon and the clouds, and I knew something good was going to happen. Right after the sunrise, the fog blanketed Hawk Hill with zero visibility. On my walk down the hill, I ran into John Louie who was still shooting the "Jazz."

There are some awesome conditions forecast this week, so I hope everyone gets an opportunity to catch some nice light.
