Conrad Meyer Piano ca 1864 - a photo on Flickriver

            This image I took from 2004 is of the front of an old piano that found it's way into a basement of an old abandoned house.  When we returned in 2007, it was completely falling apart, the keys had de-laminated and fell to the ground, and all the veneers peeled, it was very damp in there..about the only thing I salvaged was some of the black keys and this piece of veneer with the gold leaf on it and all four legs.
