Little Arethusa at Kananaskis is not only a challenging hike but also a place of natural beauty and tranquility. It offers a chance to immerse oneself in the stunning landscapes of the Canadian Rockies and experience the thrill of conquering a mountain peak.

Once reaching the summit of Little Arethusa Peak, you would be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. On a clear day, it is said that you can see Mount Sir Douglas, Mount Birdwood, and other peaks in the area. Instead of taking some time to enjoy the scenery on the peak and taking photos before descending, it was snowing with hail and strong wind, we had to climb down… However, the snow stopped on our way back. Here was the view after snow/hail. I captured my friend in a red jacket ahead of me. 😊
