The Battle Between Light and Dark - a photo on Flickriver

The 198ft behemoth of a waterfall known as Palouse Falls rages with water on a winter’s dawn in eastern Washington State in 2009. The swirling pool always looked like a cartoon whale’s head to me in this image. And with the river trailing like a tail behind it, it has always reminded me of something different... like, uhh, a microscopic organism that is essential to creating human life (that males produce). 😳
