Flame Towers Blue LED Lights - a photo on Flickriver

            Flame Towers is a residential complex with a roof height of 190 m (620 ft) in Baku, Azerbaijan. The estimated cost of Flame Towers is US$350 million. When completed, the structure will be one of the tallest buildings in Baku. Construction began in 2007, with completion in 2012. The facades of the three Flame Towers are turned into gigantic display screens with the use of more than 10,000 high-power LED luminaires, supplied by the Osram subsidiary Traxon Technologies.
Illumination

According to a poll of skyscrapercity.com, an influential urbanistic forum, the Illumination of Flame Towers was acknowledged as the best in the world[6]. The Flame Towers are completely covered with the LED screens that display the movement of a fire visible from the farthest points of the city. This illumination creates the effect of giants torches emphasizing the main idea of Flame Towers incorporated in their name. In popular culture The building was featured in Extreme Engineering, a documentary television series that airs on the Discovery Channel and the Science Channel. The episode called "Azerbaijan's Amazing Transformation" was aired on April 22, 2011 as part of Season 9. Whilst it could afford this due to oil reserves, the nation's hosting of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 after its Win in the 2011 contest bought it into the spotlight. The flame towers appeared prominently in postcards before many entries.
