Laughing Dove - a photo on Flickriver

            A close look at the Laughing Dove. I did not like the perch but a nice photo nevertheless. The bird is mainly a ground-feeder. Their diet consists chiefly of small seeds and grains. They occasionally feed on insects and especially favor termites. They rely heavily on water and therefore stay close to areas that have an available water source.
