1957 GAZ M-20 Pobeda Fastback Sedan

I didn't expect to see such east-European cars in this sophisticated automobile museum. But i do appreciate it very much.

The Russian GAZ Pobeda came out in 1946, but sketches were already made in 1938 by Valentin Brodsky and later by Vladimir Aryamov in 1940.
The merging front and rear wings, which came in vogue only around 1952, give this body an extra modern look.
Since 1951 was this car built under license in Poland as FSO Warszawa M20.
Pobeda means Victory.

Max. speed: 105 km/h.
Production M-20 Pobeda: 1946-1958.
