1938-1940 OPEL Olympia OL 38 Limousine 2 Türen

            This is the second Opel Olympia version.
The first model Olympia was presented in February 1935. It was designed by Karl Stief, and was influenced by American car design standards.
The name Olympia was chosen on the occasion of the 1936 Olympic games which were held in Berlin.
What made the Olympia so special was that it was the first mass-produced production car with a monocoque all-metal body.
In November 1936 followed an off-spring: the Opel Kadett which had almost the same body but with a smaller engine.
This second Olympia version was available as a 2-door and 4-door saloon and as a convertible.
Régi Országházhoz means: the old Parlement house.
