Soft Rose - a photo on Flickriver

Soft Rose

            This taken with the much maligned Pentax FA 28-80 3.5-4.7. I've cropped into the rose but otherwise left it at full size. I'm wondering if these days we place too much emphasis on sharpness? What do you think folks?
