This composite photo draws on the traditions of Oriental Pictorialism, and contemporary graphic design to convey a modern visual Haiku.  Blossoming branches in the foreground, ornamental koi in the midground and mountains in the background are combined in an imaginary poetic landscape.  There is a deliberate challenge and invitation for the viewer to leap from the blossoms to the fish to the far off mountains.  Entry into a state of dream where all three can exist may be as simple as standing in front of the picture.
