            Direction Weert to Hamont.
A train on the branch line from the Budelco factory waits for the S-sign along the branch line until it will get permission (by radio) from Dutch traffic control to proceed in the direction of Hamont. These block trains are run by Belgian B-Cargo.
A derail device is placed in the track of the branch. 
The light signal at the right side of the track in the direction of Weert is a remnant from the time that Budel was a real station. It functions like a starting signal on a station. The default value of this signal is red. It only shows green after the block section to Weert has been given free. To get free, the train driver has to operate a button in the little control box before the signal.
