Standard Snow image: Week 2 of 52. - a photo on Flickriver

            I guess a diary entry for the first couple of weeks of 2010 would be remiss without some comment about the large amount of snow that has fallen across the country and its prolonged presence.  It is nearly a month now that we have had snow around these here parts (see 52wau2009 entries).  This was the view from my office window. 

I spent a busy weekend. Friday the function band I play in recorded the music for five tracks. We set everything up in my living room. We are attending a wedding fayre next weekend and need some new/better demos to give away to prospective punters. On saturday I was engineer for the people that do the singing bits (my voice is so "special" it is kept away from any microphones). And yesterday I spent the day rehearsing for a panto (I'm on bass duties with my new bass), and then last night I spent six hours mixing the tracks, followed by processing some photos taken at the dress rehearsal for the panto so they can use them in the programme. 

A fun weekend, but boy do I need a rest.
