Escape From The Green Glow - a photo on Flickriver

            This is a very close up shot of a store bought flower. Sorry, I can't remember the type of flower. My focus was really not the flower's detail. Instead I was motivated to show the amazing yellowish green color found underneath the stamens.

There is no colored light used in this shot. I was able to use multi-directional light with a couple different temperatures to enhance the green and still retain the richness of the red. Pretty cool, huh?

I rarely use Photoshop for anything other than exposure adjustment in the RAW editor. There is no recoloring or Photoshop enhancement used in this shot...just a clever lighting trick and extended exposure.
