Ice Storm (8)

            Tree branches and fall leaves encrusted in ice.    On Dec. 22, 2013, much of Northeastern North America was hit with a massive ice storm that created a lot of destruction and hardship.  The crystalline coating of ice that formed on the tree branches and other vegetation was visually very beautiful and photogenic, inspiring me to go out into our local forest to capture some of this beauty.    Here is one of the images, the eight  in this set.
