            I later rode in one of these beautifully air con Isuzu buses in the Bali Safari- the zoo provides bus tours for visitors to view some 400 animals from 3 regions including Indonesia, India, and Africa.  My initial ride was a very short one- to the boarding point for the elephant back safari. After that was over, I took one of these buses again for a drive around the safari viewing areas. It was quite hot and muggy outside, and these buses were beautifully air conditioned- I felt pretty sad when I had to get off after the initial very short ride. These buses are actually very refined songthaews- pick up trucks with seats at the back. Only here the seats are wooden, arranged width wise, each cubicle has a separate door, and it is all very beautifully air conditioned- this is not your average songthaew with bench type seating and pretty rough around the back of the vehicle. I have seen inter city buses in Kenya too, built this way. (Bali, Indonesia, May 2018)
