Up Close - a photo on Flickriver

Up Close

            One of the things that I especially loved about Emhosheni is the fact that you can get very close to elephants, much closer in fact than you would normally judge safe. 
The low electric fence is also conducive to easily taking photos without having to risk getting a jolt yourself by trying to position your camera between the strands. 

Every now and then one of then gives you a little rev to let you know that you're too close but there's no real malice in it.
