Ronwyn, Pelican and the Spinnaker - a photo on Flickriver

            Colourful collection of fishing boats and yachts with the Spinnaker Tower in the background.  Taken in Spice Island, Old Portsmouth.

I captured this scene hand held with my Canon 50mm f1.4 lens with polariser.  For a brief period the winter light was purely sublime.  Within 15 minutes the moment had passed, Freezing fog descended (you can see it approaching), so glad I managed to bag a few shots.

Fusion blended in Photomatix from single RAW (loving non Details Enhancer HDR processing right now), plus further enhancements in Photoshop.
