Osprey with catch

            Green River Lake, Kentucky

(I could not hike closer to the osprey without having to swim. The cliffs and trees were dark but the osprey in flight was better lit. Wildlife love the freedom of a wide lake but a lake also challenges the outward limits of my lens. This is taken with the camera in DX-cropped setting. A teleconverter would degrade the image as well as push the ISO higher to give more grain and blending. The image is NOT cropped in post-edit.)
