Kentucky treasure: Devonian fossils at Falls of Ohio

            That is Louisville, Kentucky on the other side of the train tracks.

The Falls of Ohio State Park webpage states of this exposed bed above the Ohio River: "The 390-million-year-old fossil beds are among the largest exposed Devonian fossil beds in the world". 

According to Google maps, the point in the bed closest to Louisville where the visitors are standing falls on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River. I'm taking the photo on the southern border of Indiana.
