Spinach in one of the three tubs we had. The front one went to a retirement village!

            It was tricky rolling the tub around the side of the house and down to the backyard!
It kept wanting to go around corners, because of the large flange.
So I had to place timber under the non-flanged side to give it a more balanced rolling surface to keep it in a straight line.
It was then tipped over in its final resting place! Its partner, with out a flange has the strawberries, and is just the right height for Seniors to weed and maintain!  Never thought we would be Seniors here. 
The land was bought to be built on within 5 years under the restricted auction system the Federal Government had to encourage people to move to Canberra in the 50s- 60s, we don't need to encourage any more!!!!

One of the 3 large concrete pipes we had for the garden plants.  Finally got rid of the front one after 25yrs; to a retirement village, so the residents didn't have to bend over to weed the garden.
