1994 | SSN 52 3879 te Roosendaal

            Roosendaal, 3 december 1994 | Op deze dag zette ik mijn eerste voorzichtige stapjes in de nachtfotografie. De SSN had een plandampf goederentrein van Nuth naar Roosendaal gereden. Een dag eerder had de lege trein in de omgekeerde richting de weg richting Limburg afgelegd. Helaas was ik niet in de gelegenheid om op deze dagen de treinen te fotograferen. Dat moest dus goedgemaakt worden in de avond toen de stoomloc na al het werk in de werkplaats van Roosendaal stond. Pas in de ochtend van 5 december ging de machine terug naar Rotterdam.
