Rinky Dink - Dave "Baby" Cortez (Big Wheel Walker Remix)

            This is my mega-reverb remix of Dave "Baby" Cortez's 1962 hit Rinky Dink. Grapple Fans in the UK will recognise it as the theme tune of the ITV's 1970's Saturday afternoon Professional Wrestling programme. Dave's biggest hit, The Happy Organ, was the first instrumental No.1 on Billboard magazine's Hot 100 chart. He is still playing and released a new album, with Lonnie Youngblood and His Bloodhounds, in 2011.

I shot the video of the Big Wheel, in Fargate, Sheffield, between 10.30-10.35pm, on the night of Friday 18th December 2009. I had just left a concert by The Mediaeval Baebes, held at the Cathedral. It was -8 and, though the concert was magical, the temperature, in the centuries-old church, meant I was in the early stages of frost-bit
