An Ottawa OC Transpo bus back after a two month bus drivers' strike.

            An OC Transpo New Flyer Invero bus at the Billings Bridge Transitway stop in southern Ottawa on the first day back on the road after a nearly two month-long bus drivers' strike in the middle of a cold and snowy Canadian winter.

The strike actually ended at the end of January, but it took a week just to get enough buses serviced to be able to have normal "weekend" service (and it'll be a while yet before the weekday service will be back up and running at full steam).

Since I don't drive, it was the first time I was able to really "go" anywhere outside of a barely 1-square mile area in eastern Nepean in two months, other than a couple of times when I went nowhere-too-special with my parents. It's like, I was getting out of the house, but I still felt like I was getting a slightly expanded version of "cabin fever", since the limits of my world were around Merivale Road to the west and my house to the east.
