This is an OC Transpo Orion VI bus waiting to start a route on the "local" level at the Billings Bridge Transitway stop in southern Ottawa.

There's a "public service announcement" ad on the side for the www.sodium101.ca/ website, an initiative of the Canadian Stroke Network to raise awareness about the presence of sodium in many processed foods in order to reduce the impact of strokes.

Even though I had, ironically, just had my usual Extra Value Meal combo of a Big Mac, medium fries, and a medium Coca-Cola at the South Bank Street McDonald's (near South Keys Shopping Centre) before taking this photo, I generally don't have a problem with nutrition-information advertising, just so long as the aim is to promote overall "awareness" and not to be nagging "food police" busybody activists hoping to influence the government to push through legislation aimed at taking away my own personal freedom as a consumer in the name of "public health".
