RCMP Ford Police Interceptor on Parliament Hill, Ottawa.

            Here's a brand new 2013 Ford Police Interceptor, the police variant of the sixth-generation Ford Taurus, proudly wearing the livery of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). It's parked outside the Canadian Parliament on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.

This Ford Police Interceptor is intended as the replacement for the old Panther-bodied Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors, though the RCMP in Ottawa still seems to be mainly using Crown Vics (and Chevy Impalas). I've heard these Taurus Interceptors are a little more cramped inside compared to the old Crown Victorias, though I have never ridden in either to be able to compare the two.

The local Ottawa Police Service has at least one of the 2013 Ford Police Interceptors, wearing its new livery, in its fleet, but I haven't yet seen it as of the time of this writing (November 20th, 2012).
