Thunderhead spitting fire! - a photo on Flickriver

            
Last evening several storm cells passed to the north of us and out over the bay.  This was the first one as it moved off the Milford area and out onto the bay, as seen from the edge of the Great Marsh in Lewes.  While interesting from the ground level, from app. 250 feet up in the air, its sheer size and grandeur are overwhelming and hard to capture with words. This image is a total of 25 individual pictures.  Five slices stitched together for the panorama and each slice is a stack of five bracketed HDR images so as to capture the extreme range of lighting.  ISO 100, f2.8 and 2 full stop brackets on either side of 1/125 sec.
