Olympus Glamour 365/244 - a photo on Flickriver

            Have been meaning to give my trusty old friend a day in the spotlight for a while and playing with the Pringles snoot, it seemed the ideal time.
This little thing has been my constant companion for nearly 6 years and has had a far from gentle life, but certainly doesnt look like it.
Though far off the quality, thought I would try and give it a brochure or catalogue type of feel to the shot and it worked out much better than expected.
Over the last few days, I have been using a black lining inside the Pringles snoot to give a tightly controlled light on the background, but that didnt feel right for this.  So it was out with the black paper lining and in with a white one.
This gave a much softer and wider light, so moved it in much closer.  The end of the snoot is just 2inches/50mm approx away from the background, but it was easy to place just where I wanted.

As the camera was the subject, I couldn't use it for the setup shot today :)
Thankfully, though not so good in low light,  the DSLR doesnt do too bad a job, see below.
