LINΞΛS 7829 @ Tubize - a photo on Flickriver

Als er één constante is geweest in de maand februari 2023, dan is het vooral dat het droog is geweest. Tijdens de voorbije maand februari viel er in Ukkel amper 13,3 millimeter neerslag, tegenover 65 mm normaal. Februari 2023 wordt daarmee de droogste februari sinds 1986.

Zonnig - zoals tijdens onze wandeling en aansluitende fotostop in de Gaume - was het daarentegen niet altijd. Maar dat opent natuurlijk wel nieuwe perspectieven en mogelijkheden om aan de noordkant van bepaalde punten te gaan staan, zoals hier in Tubize, tijdens de passage van het tweede deel van de beladen SNCF ballasttrein, sinds dit jaar met Lineas-tractie op het stuk Quenast - Clabecq.

February 2023 was quite dry, although not every day sunny.
On the dull 21th of February, clouds covered the sky for almost 100%, a reason to visit some viewpoints that only can be made without sunshine, like here in Tubize with a ballast train from Quenast to Clabecq, in fact the second part of loaded waggons for SNCF.

Since this year, a Lineas loco is used for these trains on railway line 115 instead of BB67400.
