An Autumn's evening - Hagley Park, Christchurch, New Zealand, 2014

            A large park in the heart of Christchurch city, Hagley incorporates sports fields, ornamental ponds, botanic gardens, a river runs through it, and large areas of exotic and, increasingly, native plantings. 
his variety attracts a lot of birds, both native and introduced, which makes the park a rewarding place for the birder to visit even though it is in the middle of a city.
