2022-08-07 (28) Château d'Estaing (XVe-XVIe siècles)

            Le château, dominant superbement le village et la rivière, à l'instar d'un vrai château féodal (qu'il n'était déjà plus à l'époque de sa construction...), a vraiment fière allure malgré son architecture disparate. L'intérieur était très dégradé et son mobilier ancien avait disparu, suite à son utilisation depuis 1836 par un pensionnat religieux, quand il a été racheté par Valéry Giscard d'Estaing en 2005. Il abrite aujourd'hui une sorte de musée-mémorial de sa présidence
