Thames River Barge & the end of a rainbow (#1 of 1 a day for 365 days)

            I knew it was going to rain today, and usually that has always made me decide to stay in doors, but I had suddenly came to my senses and realised that harsh weather can provide some awesome photos.  I hit Greenwich Park first - dead! so walked down and along the river - all the while opening and closing my umbrella with each shower.  Eventually I saw that great light you get after a shower, where one half of the sky is bright, and the other dark grey, so kept a lookout for the expected rainbow.  It came out in in beautiful strong colours, but unfortunately what was behind it wasn't very photogenic - I was hoping it would go between me and the Millennium Dome.  I took about 5-6 in various landscape and portrait style, both close up and as wide as my 100-400 would go, but in the end I thought the less sky in the picture the better, so chose this one as my favourite
