The 19th Tribute in Light - a photo on Flickriver

            The 19th annual "Tribute in Light" memorial shines through the clouds and reaches high into the night skies above lower Manhattan.

Only a few weeks before this years anniversary it was announced by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum that the iconic memorial would be cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This announcement obviously created some serious waves and only a few days later the Tunnels to Towers foundation was able to secure the lights, the location and a staff to keep the tradition and memory alive.

Captured from the roof of Terminal Tower in Hoboken, NJ as the last trains of the night hum away under the sheds of the 112-year old Lackawanna Railroad waterfront terminal.
