For Thanksgiving Break of 2012, my friend and I decided to meet up in the middle. Him living in Washington State, and me living in San Francisco Bay Area, we decided to go chcek out the Crater Lake National Park to take advantage of the few days of vacation time we were givien.

We tried to find a place to stay, and there really weren't many choices but we manage to find an empty house where chickens and roosters run around in this little town called Chiloquin, Oregon.

This sunset is from the very first evening we just met up, it had been a few years perhaps, not to had seen him. The colorful nature welcomed us in a little town where everything was actually closed for Thanksgiving holidays. We had the worst Thanksgiving meal ever for that reason (the owner of the house left us Nissin ramen bowls) but every time I come to a place like this, the colors I get to see is just not the same as cities. It was definitely worth it, and I do miss spending time in a place where no such thing as pollution occurs.

Apparently Chiloquin has less than 800 people in town according to Wikipedia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiloquin,_Oregon
