Immature Brown Pelican (Pelecanus occidentalis)

Brown Pelican's are a rare sighting, but not un-heard of on Vancouver Island.  I lucked out and was in the right place at the right time when this young pelican flew in and landed about 15 feet from me.  It hung out for about 20 minutes before heading out to the ocean.
