Vice-Regal - a photo on Flickriver

Vice-Regal

            Government House, Hobart, Tasmania.
The House is usually open once a year, and regarded as one of the finest vice-regal residences in the Southern Hemisphere. This Steinway grand piano belonged to the Governor's spouse, Mrs Frances Underwood. The image was made during the 2010 Government House open day. The staff allowed me to discreetly set a tripod up near the main entrance, so I could make this long exposure of around thirty seconds with my shutter release cable.
