Richmond Bridge, Autumn, 2011

            The small village of Richmond, approximately half an hour from Tasmania's capital city Hobart, is home to Australia's oldest surviving bridge. Convict built, it was constructed in 1823, and is still in regular use as a vital link for the township across the Coal River.

This image is the first frame from my first roll of film through my Rolleiflex 2.8C. It was a big moment for me when I released the shutter, the realisation of a long-held ambition to own a 2.8.
The Schneider Xenotar lens is everything it's said to be.
Camera: Rolleiflex 2.8C TLR.
Lens: Schneider 80mm Xenotar f/2.8.
Film: Ilford Pan F Plus ISO 50.
Development: Processed in Ilford ID-11 1 + 3 dilution @ 20C for 16 minutes.
