The Van der Lof-MG Special was built in 1951/52 by Dries van der Lof with the help of Gerrit Sieverink. Dries drove his special in several races and rallies. The engine was the standard MG-unit of 1250 cc or a tuned MG 1 1/2 Litre engine. Nowadays the special is owned by the son of the builder, Phil van der Lof.
