            Otra foto del fruto de la Hiedra, que cada dia están más espectaculares.....

Los frutos de la Hiedra han sido muy utilizados en medicina como cicatrizantes, además de que se emplean para curar durezas en la piel.
Contienen una sustancia, la hederina que es muy tóxica, por lo que no se deben comer.

La Hiedra que es una planta trepadora, ha sido considerada antiguamente como símbolo de la ingratitud, pues en ocasiones ahoga al árbol que la sostiene. 
En algunos lugares era buscada por los brujos y envenenadores, mientras que en el norte era tenida por planta sagrada y protectora.
