o well ..

Sean Galloway's design work for the new Spider-Man toon intrigued me.. but i wasn't so sure about the new show.  

Again it's hard for me to warm up to Peter Parker.

The toon has a much different feel than the 1990s version i remember the most vividly ..but the characters are a bit different and some are younger than the 90s toon.

Eddie is also rather different. While i'm sure his rivalry will develop in the show later. At first he's actually a college student and somewhat mentor to the High School Parker. Eddie's actually pretty brave in this show. Really weird.

The sculpt on the back was an early design and the actual Venom  figure looks rather different. Mostly the head and body colour. 

There must have been a character design change later so they must have had to change the sculpt to keep up. I like the new colour. Even tho' it's not black ..it's a dark funky blue. And it looks like a shiny tar. I always thought the symbiont was like tar..  for some reason the colour just looks nice to me.

After giving the show a chance for a few weeks..   i'm sold. And again Sean's work is so damm killer..  they really seem to try to capture the basic look of his designs.

I'll stick with the show for now.. again the feel is so different than the other Spidey toons .. (( the MTV one was my fave of all .. but that didn't last )).
We'll see how it goes.

 I'm still burnt on Parker.. but another variation on the theme that's kind of fresh to me so .. - 

i'll prolly get lambasted by other fan-boys..  just cuz  i like it. Well won't be a first for me.
