Hadrian’s Wall Path - a photo on Flickriver

              Hadrian's Wall Path is a long-distance footpath in the north of England, which became the 15th National Trail in 2003. It runs for 84 miles, through some of the most beautiful wild scenery and most fascinating history in England. The route follows the course of northern Europe's largest surviving Roman monument, built on the orders of Emperor Hadrianus between AD122 and AD128. 
In 2016 we walked just a few miles :) the most interesting part ("walk 7")   

Trees are oaks and larch along this path.
